Jorge and Jerónimos Monastery. Praça do Comércio is another impressive historical landmark worth visiting in Lisbon. In Setúbal you should visit Forte de São Filipe, an incredible castle that is going to have you in awe from the moment you set eyes on its exterior. If you are craving some fresh fruits and vegetables, Mercado do Livramento is the right place for you. If you’ve had enough of the city already, you can always sail to Galapinhos Beach, a beautiful beach surrounded by turquoise waters.
Day 2 - Sail from Setúbal to Sines: Your next destination is Sines, a picturesque seaside town that is located on a hill, overlooking the Atlantic. Interestingly enough, this quaint little fishing village is the birthplace of Vasco da Gamas, the famous adventurer. The Estátua de Vasco Da Gama has been built in his honor. Not only history lovers are going to enjoy visiting the Centro Histórico de Sines.
Day 3 - Sail from Sines to Porto das Barcas: This picturesque beach, surrounded by impressive cliffs and looking out into the wild Atlantic, will have you in awe from the moment you arrive. Enjoy a little swim before relaxing and enjoying the sunset views from on board your boat.
Day 4 - Sail from Porto das Barcas to Praia de Odeceixe: Praia de Odeceixe can basically be described as a little península consisting of majestic cliffs and white sandy beaches. It is an incredibly beautiful place and shouldn’t be missed on a boat holiday starting in Lisbon.
Day 5 - Sail from Praia de Odeceixe to Sagres: Sagres is a quaint little town that is particularly popular with surfers and those who enjoy the atmosphere of more secluded beaches. If you want to get your history fix in the little town, you should definitely head to the Sagres Fortress.
Day 6 - Sail from Sagres to Lagos: The city of Lagos is definitely a well-known destination when it comes to holidays on the water. You might have seen the incredibly beautiful Instagram pictures showcasing fascinating rock formations and turquoise water in the background. You can find all of this not far from the city. Visit Ponta da Piedade, Praia do Camilo or Praia de Dona Ana for the best shots.
Day 7 - Sail from Lagos to Carvoeiro: Carvoeiro is an equally beautiful seaside town, where the house fronts are basically lining the beautiful beach. Praia do Vale de Centeanes is an incredibly interesting and popular stretch of golden sand that is framed by majestic cliffs.
