NAVIGATION PROGRAM (the day of embarkation and disembarkation are quoted by way of example)
Portoferraio (Friday) boarding from 18.00 to 20.00
Portoferraio (Saturday) - Capraia Island 30 nautical miles
The moorings are left early in the morning to reach the island of Capraia in the day after about 4 or 6 hours of sailing. After the sun and sea bath, we descend into the evocative Cala Rossa, where we head to the Old Port where we spend the night at anchor if weather conditions permit. To enjoy the suggestive Capraia in the evening it is possible to disembark with the use of the tender.
Capraia Island - Marciana Marina - 22 Nautical Miles (Sunday)
We land at Elba in the three Gulfs I prefer, Procchio, La Biodola, Viticcio, in the latter we will spend the night at anchor and if you wish we can land in Marciana Marina, which is a favor box; if the weather conditions do not allow it, we will give the anchor to the bottom in the more sheltered harbor of Portoferraio and with an excellent muddy bottom, even in complex weather conditions.
Marciana - Marina di Campo - 19 Nautical Miles (Monday)
We head to Marina di Campo early in the morning, along the Costa del Sole we arrive at Punta Fetovaia where it is impossible not to stop but the lesser known alternative is Seccheto Beach where the reflections of the sea vary from deep blue to turquoise. If the weather conditions allow, we spend the night at anchor in Marina di Campo, if it is not possible we will head for Porto Azzurro.
Pianosa Island (Tuesday)
While Rosie Probert Too will be waiting for you at Marina di Campo, you will be able to visit the Island of Pianosa by embarking on the fast ferry Acquavision which leaves from Marina di Campo at 10.00 am to be on the island at 10.30 am - Return from Pianosa leaving at 5.00 pm and docking in Marina di Campo at 5.40pm
Detailed information at this link
The cost of the excursion to Pianosa is not included in the cruise price.
If the weather conditions allow, we spend the night at anchor in Marina di Campo or the Gulf of Lacona or Golfo Stella otherwise we will sail to Porto Azzurro.
Marina di Campo - Porto Azzurro - 15 Nautical Miles (Wednesday)
We enjoy the Tre Mari, so called because from the height of Capoliveri it is possible to have a suggestive panoramic image such that the three gulfs seem to physically separate the sea.
Before sunset we must be in the harbor in Porto Azzero, however, Cala di Mola is always crowded but how can we not immerse ourselves in the glamor of the small town full of shop windows, still appreciated. Excellent restaurants overlooking the marina, can be an opportunity to spend an evening on land.
Porto Azzurro - Portoferraio 30 Nautical Miles (Thursday)
We come close to having completed the circumnavigation of the island but not without having enjoyed the view of the numerous bays present between Porto Azzurro and Rio Marina (Neregno, Barbarossa, Terranera, Ortano) where I spend the day.
In Rio Marina it might be interesting to visit the Mining Park and the characteristic Rio Marina while the boat goes round and awaits you for an aperitif at sunset in the Gulf of Portoferraio. Alternatively, the navigation is pleasant, it runs past the Costa dei Gabbiani, leaving the islands of Cerboli and Palmaiola to starboard and Campo to the left.
Portoferraio (Friday) flexible landing
Relaxation day before returning, you spend at anchor in front of the picturesque fishing village of Magazzini. A simple roadstead, apparently banal but on the contrary suggestive because the fortified walls of Portoferraio are a postcard that you will take inside for a long time and that often leads to return.
Alternatively ... shopping ... in the center of Portoferraio and visit to the ancient ruins, one cannot overlook the presence of the villa where Napoleon stayed.
We are waiting for you on board!

Cruising the enchanting waters of the Mediterranean and Adriatic on a chartered yachtin Italy is an experience like no other. Exquisite cuisine, stunning coastal landscapes, beautiful beaches and a wealth of cultural and natural wonders- it’s hard not to fall in love with the “Bel Paese”. The calm waters surrounding the penninsula and excellent wind conditions around the islands also make Italy an ideal destination for both experienced and novice sailors.
This boat is rented with a crew. Usually this includes a skipper to navigate the boat and at least one of a cook or hostess, deck hand etc as the boat requires. Please send a request to confirm the size of the crew and whether the cost is included within the cost of the boat.
Similarly to renting a car, chartering a boat requires a security deposit. The deposit, refundable after check-out, covers you and your fellow passengers against accidental damage and ensures that contractual obligations are met. The security deposit varies in value depending on the model and brand of the boat. It will be returned to you after the boat has been inspected and is deemed undamaged. You can choose to purchase the refundable security deposit, or pay a one-off deposit waiver fee instead.
A deposit waiver is a non-refundable alternative to the refundable security deposit. The deposit waiver acts in the same way as the security deposit, in that it ensures any damage to the boat is covered. The deposit waiver is lower in value than the security deposit.
We have partnered with Pantaenius and EIS to provide a range of additional insurance options for your charter.
1) Charter deposit insurance - secures the security deposit in the case of loss or damage to the chartered boat as a result of a naval accident.
2) Cancellation insurance - covers the cancellation cost in case of sudden serious illness, accident or death.
3) Charter payment insurance - covers against the potential insolvency of the charter company; boating accidents occurring before the rental period or sinking. It also provides insurance in the case of the charter not being able to provide the boat selected at booking or an alternative vessel!
Zizoo offers a full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking. For cancellations made up to 7 days after the booking date, a 12% handling fee is retained.
For bookings cancelled up to 30 days before the check-in date, a 50% refund of the total amount is applied. Cancellations made within less than 30 days of the check-in date are not eligible for refund.
Please be aware that the conditions of our charter partners’ own policies apply. If you have further questions regarding our cancellation policy, please contact our customer support team.

Once we receive your request, we will confirm the availability of the boat, as well as check for alternative ones. To ensure your experience is the best it can be, we may contact you to discuss your request in detail. Let us do the research for you - free of charge.
When can I get in touch with the skipper?
You can get in touch with the skipper as soon as you’ve completed your booking. Our skippers are highly qualified and knowledgeable about their locality.
What is a Transit Log?
A Transit Log is a variable payment, which can include the following: bed linen, cleaning, on-board Internet connection, tourist tax and base marina fees. The details of the Transit Log differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner. Once you choose your boat, our team will be able to outline the specifics of the Transit Log associated with your booking.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
