You can always carry an International Certificate of Competency or short ICC.

Day 1 - Sail from Palau to Maddalena Island: This route is taking you straight to the heart of the Parco Nazionale dell'Arcipelago di La Maddalena with its crystal clear, but turquoise water, the white sandy beaches and other natural wonders. Explore one or a few of the amazing coves scattered all around Maddalena Island. These spots are often also perfect for diving and snorkelling, adding some extra fun to your sailboat vacation. However, be careful when approaching the coves and beaches as sailboats have a keel, which makes it difficult and sometimes even dangerous to sail too close to the shore.
Day 2 - Sail from Maddalena Island to Santa Teresa Gallura: It’s a very short distance of 10 nautical miles, making it the perfect spot to stop by for a delicious Italian meal, to go for a swim or to discover archeological sites like Sito Archeologico Lu Brandali - Mostra di Archeologia Nuragica. One of the coolest things when coming here might be the fact that you can see all the way to Bonifacio in Corsica when you head to the most Northern tip of the town.
Day 3 - Sail from Santa Teresa Gallura to Bonfacio: The time has come to sail all the way to Bonifacio. Since you can already see it from a distance, you might as well just head over there. Explore the historical streets overlooking the sea and admire the majestic cliffs when arriving here.
Day 4 - Sail from Bonifacio to Porto Vecchio: Surrounded by beautiful green and hilly landscapes, this Corse town is a wonderful place to visit and admire both the Italian and French influences that have made it what it is. A Genoese citadel dating back to the 16th century is one of the most beautiful historical landmarks you can visit here.
Day 5 - Sail from Porto Vecchio to Cavallo Island: Discover turquoise waters, unique rock formations and the stunning coves. You will think that you have arrived in the Caribbean rather than a Corse island.
Day 6 - Sail from Cavallo Island to Plage de la Cala di u Lioni: Sailing on a sailboat might mean that you can’t reach this beautiful beach, but you can still anchor for the night and wake up to a beautiful sunrise here.
Day 7 - Sail from Plage de la Cala di u Lioni to Palau: Your sailing adventure in Palau is coming to an end, so you should take in the stunning views of Sardinia one last time when sailing alongside the coast.
