What new things have you learned about sailing?

How to sail altogether. We were with a group of 7 of whom 2 had their skipper license and they basically taught us everything. At the end of the week we were a very effective team.

What was one of the biggest highlights of your trip?

Every morning waking up at a beautiful place and just diving into the ocean to start the day.

What was one of the biggest highlights of your trip?

We loved developing a strong relationship with our skipper. We loved his sense of humour and the way he cared about us. We threw him a surprise thank you dinner at the end and made him a handmade card and he said it was the nicest thing any guests had ever done for him.

Do you have any advice you would give to future boat holiday-goers?

I would tell them to bring ocean friendly products – body wash, dishwashing liquid etc… as it will be washed directly into the ocean from most boats.

Can you share a funny story that happened during your holiday?
When you go skinny dipping and get out of the water only then to realize there’s a huge ferry full of passengers on the deck right beside you.

Do you have any advice you would give to future boat holiday-goers?
Anchor overnight in beautiful bays instead of crowded marinas.

What was one of the biggest highlights of your trip?

One of the biggest highlights for us was to spot a dolphin family on our way back to the harbor. They played  together underwater and had fun swimming with the waves.

Do you have any advice you would give to future boat holiday-goers?

Do it! With friends or family, its amazing and a great experience. If you are a group about 8 persons a catamaran will be great. You have enough space to tan, play and enjoy.

What was the biggest highlight of your trip?

On the first day of sailing which happened to be the first time me and my girlfriend have ever been on a sailboat, it was a beautiful day with the perfect amount of wind. We set sail from Salerno, Italy towards the south to a beautiful small traditional city called Agropoli. After a full day of sailing and taking in the sun we were feeling relaxed and joyful. As we docked the sailboat at Agropli, there was a boardwalk parallel to the ocean with a sunset that looked like it was out of a painting. I took my girlfriend to the boardwalk as the sun was just setting and love was in the air. I went on one knee and I asked her to marry me. This is a memory of a lifetime.

Do you have any advice you would give to future boat holiday-goers?

One advice that I can give to anyone thinking about booking a boat trip, just do it. I believe it’s a trip that everyone should experience. Being on a boat at sea is like nothing else. The memories are unique as it’s for families, friends, and lovers of all kinds. It’s a holiday that will be most memorable and special in your life.
